Buyer Requirements
What a buying party is expected to provide
This page may be shared freely with prospective buyers. It sets out, in general terms, the information MRD Investment Group expects before commercial discussion proceeds.
Corporate Identity
The registered buying entity, its jurisdiction of registration and its business activity. Transactions are conducted between identifiable entities.
Authority
The role of the individual engaging and the basis of their authority to act for the buying entity. Where a representative acts, that appointment should be documented.
Product & Commodity
The commodity, product form and specification required, described precisely enough for a supplying party to respond meaningfully.
Quantity
A realistic quantity, and whether the requirement is a single transaction or recurring, with intended frequency where applicable.
Destination
The receiving country, port, facility or refinery type, and any import, licensing or handling considerations at destination.
LOI or ICPO
Where applicable to the structure, a letter of intent or ICPO consistent with the stated requirement, capability and destination.
Financial Capability
Evidence of financial capability appropriate to the transaction, provided at the appropriate stage and through an acceptable channel.
Timeline & Procedure
The intended timeline and any procedural requirements the buyer must satisfy internally, including approvals and compliance steps.
Do Not Send Sensitive Documents Initially
Please do not attach proof of funds, bank statements, contracts or other confidential documentation to an initial enquiry. Documentation is exchanged later in the process, mutually and through appropriate channels.
